Anyone ever been kayaking? Or kyaking? I've done it several times. I think it's a lot easier than canoeing and it gives you really good arm excercise when you paddle. I usually go in a two-person boat but one time I went solo with the people in the boat beside me telling me which way to turn. I really liked that.

I've been whitewater rafting, which is fun, but can be cold lol! But I enjoyed it, we go every year at Chorus camp. It's tiring, but fun. And once we actually got to ride down the rapids, with out the raft. I mean, just float down. It was fun, except one time a rock hit me really hard in the rear end and it was really bad for me lol! But it's fun.

I canoed and found it wasn't all that hard but never kyacked before. Whats the difference between the two?

In canoeing you have your basic paddle, but in kayaking your paddle is double-bladed so you swing one side at a time to move yourself. Can't really explain it Also, the canoe is somewhat wider and the kayak is fatter and less spacious. I've been white-water rafting too. It was fun except the one point where we went down this huge rapid and we all freaked out. Spinning the raft around is fun.

Now that has to be fun! I've never white water rafted before but I've seen it done on TV before. Sounds fun and dnagerious :)

I've done sculling (in singles, doubles, and quads), canoing (doubles only), and dragon boat paddling; all on flat water.
